I am a manager at a corporate gym in the Perth city, have been in the fitness industry for 7 years. i have a been doing martial arts for a number of years I used to do boxing, Mauy Thai and Zen Do Kai now I only practice Brazilian Jui Jitsu which I love. I have been doing Kettlebells for a couple of years but seriously for the past 12 months. I completed the HKC course in Melbourne March 2011, and Sept 2011 I completed the RKC in the US.
So I'm thinking about getting some BCAA, what brand would you recommend? I don't take any protein powders at all as I'm not a huge fan of them, I generally put on fat with them. I've heard good things about BCAA, do you think it is worth me trying it out?

This is such exciting news, you have worked really hard to make this happen for the kettlebell enthusiast of Australia, well done Andrew!!
I agree with you, I completed my HKC in March 2011 and it certainly did get me ready for the RKC in Sept. At the time I didn't know it was going to be such a huge help but once I got to Chicago and started the RKC I realised how much it did help me get through the first day. Plus it gave me an understanding on how the Dragon door courses were going to be run.
The workshops on the Sunday after the HKC were very valuable too.
I highly recommend doing both, I had so much fun, I can't believe the knowledge that I was taught and all the fantastic people that you get to meet and socialise with. Read more...
