As Australia’s leading kettlebell trainer he has blazed a path including becoming Australia’s first ever RKC Team Leader (an invite only position of leadership within the RKC community), first Certified Kettlebell Functional Movement Specialist and first RKC Level II. His background includes fitness teaching, presenting, course creation, personal training, elite sports performance coaching and olympic weightlifting. By combining his knowledge in all these areas he has forged a path for professional kettlebell training in Australia.
His no nonsense, results producing style stems from the huge amount of time spent working in the trenches with clients every day for almost two decades. Combined with his time spent in both elite sports preparation and special forces he has the tools and experience to get you in the best shape of your life.
"Andrew Read's passion for the RKC system is evident in everything he does from personal training to workshops to running day to day operations for Dragon Door Australia. There is a constant emphasis on quality and everything is an attempt to answer with action the question "How can we do this better?" Many people think Hardstyle is just about tension and kettlebells, but Andrew understands that these things are only a part of the bigger picture which incorporates joint mobility, stretching, Indian Clubs, bodyweight and barbell strength training and the Functional Movement System principles. He has a great ability for teaching others and communicates the details of the system exceptionally well". - Iron Tamer David Whitley, Master RKC Instructor

Shannon Scullin
As Australia’s first female RKC Shannon has been blazing a trail of strength and fitness since she first fell in love with kettlebells. Her passion for kettlebell and RKC training methodologies has seen her become the second person in Australia to ever pass the Level 2 RKC course.
She brings a keen eye for technique to training and is renowned for being very focused on form ensuring that clients with previous injuries are able to train safely. As the head of Personal Training at Dragon Door Australia she uses the CK FMS to test and evaluate all our clients before training to ensure that not only will they look better from training, but they will also move better too.
With a background in adventure racing, rock climbing, cycling and running Shannon fell in love with kettlebells when she saw the immediate result that improving strength has on sporting performance.
"It doesn't take long to realize that Shannon Scullin is a rising star in the health, fitness and strength industry. Her personal mastery of movement is extraordinary, but, more importantly, her empathy and passion in teaching makes her a rare gem in this field. She combines enthusiasm with intelligence, kindness with fierceness. She has the courage to fly across the world to seek out the best and brightest in fitness industry and has the integrity to quietly master these tools. I was impressed at her quick wit and her ability to swiftly pick up the nuances of complex human movement. Shannon is the future of the fitness world." Senior RKC Dan John.
